OUR MISSION

Our primary mission is to provide military funeral honors for Aggie veterans, while also supporting the families of distinguished members of the Texas A&M community and others when requested and authorized. Above all, we strive to bring comfort to grieving families by honoring their loved ones with humility, excellence, and the timeless traditions of military service. It is our privilege to stand in tribute to those who have faithfully served their country, their community, and the Aggie family.
WHY AMC WAS ESTABLISHED
In 2006, it was made known to the Corps of Cadets that there were seven World War II veterans who would not be receiving military honors from their branch and had requested a cadet presence at their funerals. Seniors were called upon to fulfill these seven services. After the seventh funeral, the cadets decided to make a special unit of the corps dedicated to performing more services because they saw how important it was to the families involved.
"Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it."
Proverbs 3:27
